Dinesh R Jariwala

My name is Dinesh and I run this small place at Askon Plaza on Anand Mahal Road. We are down in the lower ground floor, unit 16, which means it stays a bit cooler during the hot months but we don't get much sunlight. Being behind Bulkabhavan School makes the mornings very hectic when all the parents are dropping off their kids. You can hear the school bells and the children playing sometimes while we work. It is a bit tucked away, so people usually have to look for the sign near the stairs to find us. I’ve lived around here for most of my life and decided to set up shop in this area because it’s familiar. Most days it is just me and one other person handling the daily work. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just do our work and keep the records straight. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so we don't run out of room. Sometimes the rain gets a bit close to the entrance since we are on the lower ground, but we manage to keep things dry. People come in to ask for things and we try to find what they need. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the morning school traffic. We don't do much marketing, just word of mouth from people who live around Anand Mahal.
