Ghoomar Fashion

Ghoomar Fashion is located at No. 201 in Shreenathji Society 2. We are situated on Nilgiri Road in the Dindoli area. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the center of town, but it’s a good spot for us. The society is quite large and there are always kids playing in the common areas in the evenings. Our unit is on the second floor. We do a lot of our fashion-related work from this space. It’s not a big showroom with mannequins in the window. Instead, it’s where we handle the actual business side of things. The Nilgiri Road can get pretty crowded during the market hours. We’ve been in Dindoli for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside the office, it’s mostly just tables and stacks of samples. We try to keep it tidy but when things get busy, there are fabrics and papers everywhere. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don’t use a lot of fancy titles here. Everyone just chips in with whatever needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit out on the balcony and wait it out. It’s a very local way of working. We know the security guards at the society gate and the shopkeepers downstairs. It’s a practical place for us to run the business without any of the high-street stress. We just like doing our work here.
