Dhaduk Ghelani

Dhaduk Ghelani is located in the Guru Nanak Dev Market in Surat. This market is a very busy place and there is always something going on outside our door. It is loud and crowded, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. Our space is tucked away inside the market and it isn't very large. We have just enough room for our equipment and a couple of chairs for people who come to see us. Surat is a city that never really slows down, so we stay pretty busy most of the time. The air in the market can get a bit stuffy, but we have a small fan that helps. We don't have a big sign or any glossy brochures to hand out. Most of our work comes from people who are already in the market and just happen to stop by. We’ve been at this location for a good while now and we have seen a lot of other businesses come and go. It’s a tough environment but we just keep doing what we do. We don't have any complicated mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, open the shop, and work until it’s time to close. It is a simple way of running things and it suits us just fine. Sometimes we have to deal with the chaos of the market, but that is just part of being in this part of Surat.
