We’ve been here at 17 Divyajyot Soc for a while now. It’s right near Gajera Circle on Amroli Road in Surat. Most people know the spot because of the traffic around the circle. We handle auto electrical stuff. If a wire is loose or a battery is acting up, folks just pull in. It gets pretty dusty out here during the day. We spend a lot of time under hoods of cars and checking fuses. It isn't fancy work but it’s what we do. The shop isn't huge but we have enough space for a couple of vehicles at a time. Sometimes the fans aren't enough when the sun is really hitting the road outside. We started doing this because we liked fixing things. People from around the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to ask a question about their dashboard lights. We try to give them a straight answer. Surat can be a busy place and Amroli Road always has something going on. We keep the tools organized as much as possible, though by afternoon things usually get a bit messy. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’re usually here from morning until the evening. If you’re passing by Gajera Circle, you’ll see us. No big signs or anything, just the workshop and us working on whatever came in that morning. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy every day.
