Dadimaa Saree

Our shop is located on Ring Road, specifically in Old Hanuman Lane at number 612-13. It's a very busy part of the market area with people constantly walking by. We have stacks and stacks of sarees all over the place. It's a family-run kind of thing that has been going for a long time. We don't have a lot of extra space for people to sit down, but we always make do. The shelves are full from the floor all the way to the ceiling. We've been here for many years, watching the traffic and the crowds go by on the Ring Road. People come in looking for something specific for a family wedding or just something simple for everyday wear. We spend a lot of our day folding and unfolding different fabrics for customers. The colors are everywhere you look. It’s not a modern boutique with glass walls and air conditioning. It’s more of a traditional shop where you have to look through the piles to find what you want. We know the history of the different patterns we carry in stock. Sometimes it gets very crowded in the lane, making it hard for people to even get to our front door. We don't mind the noise though. That is just how life is in this part of the city. We keep the lights on and wait for the next person to walk in and browse.
