Creative Interior

Our shop is located over in the Sarakki Industrial Estate, right off Anand Mahal Road in the JP Nagar Phase III area. Being situated in an industrial estate means it is almost always noisy around here with the sounds of heavy trucks passing by and other machines running in the nearby units, but it works out well for what we do. Creative Interior is basically just one big shed where we keep all our heavy tools and machinery. We do a lot of the initial woodwork and cutting here before we pack everything up and take it over to the customer's house for the final installation. JP Nagar has changed quite a bit over the last few years with new shops and cafes, but this specific part of the industrial estate stays pretty much the same as it always was. It is a bit gritty and very practical. We don't have a receptionist or a front desk. If the big metal shutter is rolled up, it means we are inside and working. Usually, you can hear someone running a saw or see someone painting a cabinet door. We always end up with a lot of wood shavings and dust on our clothes by the end of a long shift. The tea guy comes around in the morning and again in the afternoon, and that's usually when we take our only real breaks. We take on all kinds of furniture work, from simple wardrobes to more complicated setups.
