Chirag Saree

Chirag Saree is located at 58 59, right next to the Bhata Tenament. We are on the Udhna Magdala Road, specifically near B V K Iyengar Road in Udhnagam. It’s a busy area with a lot of traffic passing by. Our shop is a bit of a landmark for people living in the tenements nearby. We deal in sarees of all kinds. The shop floor is usually covered in bundles that just arrived. We aren't much for decorating the place. We just want to make sure the sarees are where people can see them. It gets quite dusty with the road right there, but we clean up every morning. We have a couple of guys helping out with the heavy lifting. People come in looking for something specific, and we spend time digging through the shelves. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We talk loudly, we drink a lot of chai, and we know our customers by name. Udhnagam is a hardworking place, and we fit right in. We’ve been in these units, 58 and 59, for a long time. The street outside is always full of scooters and carts. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how business is done here. We keep the doors open and wait for the next person to come in. There is always work to be done with the fabric and the orders. It keeps us busy from morning until we close.
