Bhumika Classes

This is a small setup at number 8 in the Triveni Sangam Apartments. We are located in the Ashok Vatika area on Sagar Road. Since we are in an apartment building, it feels very much like a home rather than a school. We’ve converted a few of the rooms into classroom spaces. It’s got that lived-in feel, with curtains on the windows and tiled floors that are easy to clean. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep things orderly and not too loud. Sagar Road can get quite dusty with all the traffic, so we are always cleaning the windows and the desks before students arrive. We have a small bookshelf filled with old textbooks and guides that anyone can use for reference. Most of the kids who come here are from the nearby buildings in Ashok Vatika. They usually just walk over after they’ve had their lunch at home or after their school bus drops them off. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We sit on chairs that don't always match, and we use whatever space is available for the different groups. Sometimes when it rains hard, the water splashes onto the balcony, and we have to move things inside quickly so they don't get wet. It’s just how it is. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we know most of the parents by their first names. It’s a simple, local place for students.
