Bhatporwala Ami

I am Bhatporwala Ami, and I’m based out of Gurukrupa on Dumas Road. We are located right near the Pani Tanki, which is the big water tank everyone uses as a landmark. Being on Dumas Road is nice because you get that breeze coming in. The building itself is called Gurukrupa, and it’s a simple place with a lot of character. I’ve been working from here for a good amount of time, and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the traffic outside. Most days, I’m here by nine and I don't leave until quite late. The space inside is filled with bits and pieces of my work. It’s not perfectly organized, but I know where everything is kept. I don’t go in for fancy decor or expensive lighting. It’s just a place to get things done. People often drop by because they’re passing the water tank anyway. We sit down, have some tea, and talk about what needs to be done. It’s a very casual way of doing things, but it works for the people in this area. I think they like that we aren't trying to act more important than we are. We’re just a small local business trying to do right by the folks who live nearby. If you need us, just look for the tank on Dumas Road and you’ll be pretty much there. It’s a good spot to be.
