Bengali Johar

Bengali Johar is located over in Begampura at A 107. It is just me and a couple of others here most of the time. The shop is not very hard to find if you know these streets well, but if you are coming from another part of town, you might have to ask someone for directions. We have been in this same spot for quite a while. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works fine for what we do every day. I usually get in pretty early before the sun gets too hot. Begampura is always a busy place with plenty of people walking past the door. I like to keep the front open so I can see what is happening outside. Inside the shop, we have shelves filled with all the different things we keep in stock. It is a bit crowded and maybe a little messy on my desk, but I know where everything is. I don't have a big staff to help me out. If the phone rings, I am usually the one who answers it. I like knowing my customers by their names because most of them live just a few streets away from here. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit on the bench outside and wait. That is just how life is in this neighborhood and I am happy with it.
