Belly Gems Private Limited

Our office is number 84 in the Diamond World building on Varachha Road. We are in Tower-A. If you have ever been to Surat, you know how hectic Varachha Road can be. There are people and motorbikes everywhere. Inside Diamond World, it’s a bit different. It’s a huge place with lots of offices just like ours. We work with gems. It’s a quiet job mostly. We sit at our benches and look at stones all day. It takes a lot of patience. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules. It’s a small group of us. We share lunch and talk about local news. The building is quite tall, and sometimes we just take the stairs if the lift is taking too long at lunch. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The office is functional. We have good lights and the tools we need. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it doesn't help us see the gems any better. People know where to find us if they need something. We don't do much advertising. We just rely on the work we do. It’s a regular routine. We come in, do our bit with the stones, and head home to our families. It’s the way things go in this part of Surat. Most of us have lived here our whole lives, so we are used to the pace of the diamond trade.
