Mahautsav Sarees

Mahautsav Sarees is found at No. 161-162 inside the Krishna Industrial Estates on Ved Road. It might seem a bit odd to have a saree business in an industrial estate, but it works for us. We have more room here than we would in a crowded market. The units are big enough to hold all the different types of sarees we have. Ved Road is a busy stretch with lots of activity. We spend most of our time organizing the stock and dealing with the bundles that come in from the weavers. It’s not a glamorous setup. We have metal shelves and some old fans to keep the air moving. My brother and I run things mostly. We aren't interested in making it look like a high-end boutique. It’s a warehouse style of doing things. People who know where we are usually come specifically for what we have. We don't get much foot traffic, which is fine by us. It lets us focus on the work. The Krishna Industrial Estate is a big place, and it can be a bit confusing to find the right unit if it’s your first time. We just stay busy with the sarees, checking the embroidery and the fabric quality. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it here on Ved Road for many years now.
