I run things out of 21 Katargam D P Road, over in the I L A Park Society. It is a bit of a trek for some, but I like being in this part of Katargam. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it feels safe and settled. My workspace isn't very big, but I have everything I need tucked into the corners. I usually start my day early before the sun gets too hot. A lot of the work involves talking to people about what they need and then seeing if I can make it happen. I don't use any fancy computer programs for everything; I still like to write things down in my ledger. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the neighbors from the society stop by just to say hello or ask how business is going. It is that kind of place. The D P Road gets busy with school buses in the morning, which is usually when I get my second cup of tea. I have been at this address for a few years now and do not plan on moving anytime soon. It is a simple setup and I like it that way. No one here wears a suit or acts like they are better than anyone else. We just get the work done and go home to our families when the clock hits five. I find that if you just treat people fairly, they tend to come back. It is a quiet life but I am happy with it.
