Asharawala Kamalnayan

My name is Asharawala Kamalnayan. Our small setup is over in the Rander Chandlodiya area, specifically at number 12 660. If you know where the Moti Masjid is, then you can find us pretty quickly because we are very close to it. This neighborhood has a lot of history and the streets can get pretty narrow and crowded, especially during prayer times or local festivals. We’ve been part of this community for a good while. Every morning, I walk over from my house and open the shutters. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood starting up, which I actually find quite comforting. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people just walk in because they saw our door open or someone told them we were here. We handle things as they come. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s slow, that is just how business goes. I try to keep the place tidy, but with all the activity, there is usually a bit of dust or papers around. It feels real, though. We are just locals serving other locals. If you are passing by the mosque, feel free to stop in and say hello. We are usually around until late afternoon unless something urgent comes up. It’s a simple life and we like the people around here.
