If you head over to Sahara Darwaja and look for Nagpure Chowl, that’s where we are located. The exact spot is 12 1656, and it’s right in the middle of everything in Yerawada. It’s a crowded area, full of life and noise, which we’ve grown to love over the years. Our workspace isn't very large, but it’s ours. We started out with just a few things and have slowly built up our daily routine. There is always something happening outside the window, from kids playing to people heading to work. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy scripts for us. It’s just us answering the phone and taking care of whoever walks in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold a lot of memories. We deal with all sorts of people from the neighborhood. Some stay for a while, others are just passing through. We like the grit of the area; it feels like real life. We don’t pretend to be something we aren't. We just provide a service to the local community as best as we can. When the day ends, we lock up and walk through the chowl, saying hello to the neighbors. It’s a simple existence, but it’s meaningful because we are right there where the action is. The neighbors know us by name, and we like that personal connection. It keeps us grounded in the local culture.
