Our shop is at number 355 in Krishna Nagar, Ganeshpura. It’s right on the Amroli Sign Road. It’s a busy street with lots of bikes and people walking by all the time. We have sarees everywhere you look. Some are on the shelves and some are still in the boxes they arrived in. We don't have those fancy mannequins in the window. We mostly just show the fabric to people who come inside. Amroli is a crowded part of town, so it gets noisy with the traffic outside. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stay organized or we’d never find anything. We spend our time talking to customers and helping them pick something they like. It’s not a high-pressure place. We just sit on the floor cushions and go through the stock. Sometimes my kids are running around the back while we work. We’ve been here for several years now and the neighbors are like friends. We don't do any big sales or internet ads. Most people just see the sign when they are heading down the road and stop by. It’s a simple business. We buy sarees, we show them to people, and we sell them. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. We are just a local shop trying to get by like everyone else in Krishna Nagar.
