Amit Prafulchand Shah

Working out of 36 Bharthana Navpallav Bunglows is a bit different than being in a big commercial building. Amit Prafulchand Shah is basically run from here, in a much quieter residential neighborhood. It’s nice because you don’t have all that city noise. You mostly hear birds or the neighbor’s car. The office is just a room we’ve set up with a couple of desks and some computers. It’s a bit cramped because we have so many books and papers everywhere. We probably should organize the shelves better, but we always seem to have something more important to do. People usually call us before they come over. It’s not like a shop where people just walk in off the street. We’ve been in this bungalow for quite a few years now. The light is really good in the mornings. I usually sit here with my morning tea and go through the emails that came in overnight. We don’t have any fancy signs outside. If you’re looking for us, you just look for the number 36. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which is how we like it. We take our shoes off at the door. It keeps the place a bit cleaner. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big meetings or shiny furniture. We just do our work and keep things simple. It’s a steady pace and it suits us just fine. We have a small garden outside where we take breaks sometimes.
