Allen Career Institute

Our branch of Allen Career Institute is located in Athwa, and it’s a place that stays busy from early morning until late in the evening. If you walk by, you’ll see heaps of students carrying heavy bags and talking about their latest exams. The building itself is pretty functional. We have rows of desks and whiteboards that get covered in notes and formulas every single day. It’s not a fancy environment, just a lot of rooms where people sit and try to learn. There’s always the sound of shuffling papers and pens clicking. We spend a lot of time organizing the schedules and making sure there are enough seats for everyone. The staff here is used to the fast pace. We don't really have time for much else besides getting the material ready and making sure the lights are working. Athwa is a central spot, so there’s always something happening outside, but inside we try to keep things somewhat quiet. The furniture is basic, and the hallways can get a bit crowded during the breaks. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just a place where people come to study and get through their courses. We open the doors, keep the fans running, and stay until the last student leaves. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to the grind by now. Some of the clocks are five minutes fast.
