If you go down to the Varachcha Mini Bazar, you’ll find us right near the Darshan Sherwani House. It’s a very crowded area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping for clothes or groceries. We set up this little shop because people always have problems with their phones or their computers and don’t know where to take them. I’ve spent many hours hunched over a desk with a tiny screwdriver trying to fix a screen or a keyboard that stopped working. It can be frustrating work when the parts are small, but it’s what we do. The shop is small, so there isn’t much room for chairs, most people just stand and wait or leave their stuff and come back later. We handle all kinds of brands, whatever walks through the door really. Sometimes it’s a laptop that won't turn on or a phone that took a swim in some water. We can’t always fix everything, but we try our best to see what can be done. Being in the Mini Bazar means we get to talk to a lot of neighbors and shopkeepers from the area. It feels good to help someone get their photos back or fix a computer they need for school. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the shop front and a sign so people can find us among all the other stalls in the market.
