Nilkanth Mobile Care

I'm usually here at the shop in Gulab Tower, Kadodara, from early morning until late. The unit number is 41276, and it’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. The space is filled with plastic bins full of spare parts and those tiny screws that always seem to roll off the table. I've got a soldering iron that takes a minute to heat up and a light that I have to tilt just right to see the chips on the boards. Most days, people bring in phones that have been dropped in water or have screens that look like spiderwebs. It’s quiet enough in the morning to get the hard work done before the afternoon rush starts. The walls are a plain off-white color and I have a small stool that creaks every time I move. Outside the window, you can see the traffic moving towards the main road. I keep a bottle of water on the shelf next to some old batteries waiting to be recycled. It’s a simple setup, nothing special to look at, but it gets the job done when someone is in a hurry to get their device back. Sometimes I chat with the guy in the next unit about the weather or how busy the tower is getting. By the time I pack up, my eyes are usually a bit tired from looking at the small parts.
