T T Bricks

If you head out to Village and Post Office Alanda in the Rajgangpur Taluka, you will find T T Bricks. We are right on the main road, not too far from the L & T company plant. Being in Sundergarh district, we get all kinds of weather that affects how we work. The yard is usually full of smoke and the smell of burning fuel when the kilns are active. It is a rural spot, so things move a bit slower than in the city, but the work is still heavy. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. We just have a small shack where we keep the records and a lot of space for the bricks to dry. The proximity to L & T helps people find us because that's a huge landmark in the area. We mostly deal with local builders and people from the nearby villages who are putting up a new room or a wall. The main road gets quite a bit of truck traffic, which is helpful for our logistics. It's a simple life out here in Alanda. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot to handle the bricks. There's always something to do, whether it's mixing the mud or loading up a tractor. It’s just how we have always done things at T T Bricks. We keep the fires going and try to stay ahead of the orders that come in.
