Swastik Brick

We have been running Swastik Brick here in Kandarkela Village for quite some time now. If you are coming from the main part of Nuagaon Tehsil, you basically just head toward the post office area. We are located right near the high school, so you can usually hear the kids during the day when things aren't too noisy in the yard. It is a local operation, nothing too fancy or complicated. We just focus on getting the work done day by day. The red earth around here is good for what we do, and we keep the kilns going as long as the weather stays dry. Some days the dust is a bit much, but that is just how it is when you are making bricks. People from around the district know where to find us because of the school landmark. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a dusty yard where we stack things up and wait for the trucks to come by. The morning starts early before the sun gets too hot over the village. We usually sit out by the gate for a bit before the first load goes out. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the heavy machinery. We have seen the village change a bit over the years, but our spot near the post office stays pretty much the same. Just a bunch of people working with their hands.
