Panda Bricks

Out here in Jabaghat Village, near the Jhirpani Church, life moves at its own pace. We have been operating Panda Bricks from this spot in Bisra Tehsil for a while now. The ground here is good for what we do. Every morning starts the same way, checking on the workers and seeing how many bricks we can get out of the molds. It's a lot of manual labor, mostly just backs and shovels. Being near the church means we hear the bells sometimes, which is a nice break from the noise of the yard. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising because everyone in the village knows where we are. If you walk down the main path towards the church, you can't miss the stacks. The piles of bricks get pretty high during the dry season. We try to get as much done as possible before the monsoon hits, because once it starts raining, everything slows down. It gets muddy and messy. We just do the work and try to stay busy. My family helps out too, it's a small operation. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a brick yard in Jabaghat. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck if the road isn't great, but we manage. It’s just how things are around here. We work hard, go home, and start again the next day. No use complaining about the dust when it’s your livelihood.
