Rathnaa Real Estates is over at No. 24 on the 2nd Floor in Akila Nagar, which is part of the T.V. Kovil area. Being on the second floor means we have a bit of a view of the street, which is nice for people-watching when things are slow. T.V. Kovil is a place with a lot of history, and you can feel that in the neighborhood. Our office isn't very large, but it’s enough for the two or three of us who work here regularly. We don’t have a fancy sign or a big lobby. People usually find us by word of mouth or by seeing our small board downstairs. We handle a lot of the local houses and plots around Akila Nagar. It’s mostly quiet work, involving a lot of ledger books and site visits. We often walk over to the properties because everything is quite close by. When someone comes in, we usually offer them a glass of water and just talk about what they are looking for. There’s no big sales pitch here. We just show what we have and let them decide. Sometimes we spend hours just sorting through old property titles to make sure everything is clear for a sale. It’s slow, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve been at this same spot for quite a while now and we know the streets very well.
