Videocon Group

Up here in New Theed, things are a bit different than in the big cities down south. We operate Videocon Group right here in Srinagar. It’s a beautiful area, but the winters get really cold, which affects how we work sometimes. We deal with various electronics and home items that people need. Our place is easy enough to find if you’re in the Kashmir area. We’ve been around for a bit, just helping out locals with what they need for their homes. It’s not a massive operation with hundreds of people in suits. It’s more of a local setup. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who come in from the surrounding villages. Sometimes the internet is spotty, so we do a lot of face-to-face business. That’s just the way it works here. Srinagar is a unique place for a business. We try to keep things moving even when the weather is tough. People know us in New Theed. We don't have a big fancy storefront with lights. It’s just a practical building where we keep our stock and talk to people. We focus on getting things delivered or fixed without making it too complicated. It’s a straightforward way of living and working. We like being part of this community. It feels right to be here instead of some busy commercial hub. We just take things one day at a time and see who needs help with their appliances. The mountains are always in the background while we work.
