White Camping Agency

We are located in Allochi Bagh, which is over in Srinagar 190009. Our place is pretty easy to find because we are right near the Khadi-Mill. Working at White Camping Agency means our space is usually filled with the smell of canvas and nylon. We have stacks of gear everywhere, and sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit down and have a cup of tea. We spend most of our mornings checking through the equipment that came back from the last trip. If something is torn or dirty, we have to fix it up right away so it is ready for the next person. It's a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually a bit dusty by the end of the day. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice compared to the busier parts of the city. We get locals and people from out of town coming in to ask about the best spots to set up a tent. We tell them what we know based on where we’ve been ourselves. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that; it's just us in the shop making sure the stoves work and the tents don't leak. It’s a simple life, and we like being so close to the mill because it’s a good landmark for people trying to find us. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful when people walk through the door.
