Our shop is located in the Iddgah area, specifically on the street called Laigari Doori. It is a very local neighborhood, the kind where everyone knows each other’s business. We are situated quite close to Masjid Mustafa. You can hear the call to prayer clearly from our front door several times a day. It is a family-run place, just us and the kids helping out when they are around. The street is narrow, so it feels very tight when things are being moved in or out. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. It is not one of those modern shops with glass windows. It’s more of a place where the doors stay open to catch whatever breeze comes down the alley. We keep our stock inside where it's dry. Most people who come to see us are from around here or have heard about us from their neighbors. We spend the day talking to people and handling whatever work comes our way. It’s a quiet life mostly, away from the main highway noise. We like the pace of this part of town. The Masjid is a nice landmark for anyone trying to find the way. We just keep things simple and take care of the daily chores. There is always someone around to chat with while we organize the shop floor.
