Jeelani Traders

Our place is right in the middle of Syed Rehmaniya Bazar. We are located in Brane Nishat, very close to the Syed Rahmaniya Astan. Being in a bazaar means there is never a quiet moment. Jeelani Traders has been operating from this small shop for a long time. We trade in various goods that come through the market. The streets are very narrow here, so getting our supplies delivered is always a bit of a challenge. We often have to carry things by hand from the main road. It keeps us fit, I suppose. The Astan is a major landmark, so people never have trouble finding us. We see a lot of visitors and locals every day. We don't have any marketing people or a fancy website. It is just us sitting on the floor or on small stools, talking to whoever walks in. Sometimes we share tea with the shopkeeper next door while we wait for the next delivery. The atmosphere in Brane Nishat is very traditional and we like it that way. We use old-fashioned scales and write everything down in notebooks. It is a simple way of living. The bazaar gets very crowded during the festivals, and we have to stay open late. We don't mind the long hours because this is our community. It is just how Jeelani Traders has always been.
