Mukhtars Tutorials

It’s been a while since we set up Mukhtars Tutorials over here in Nundresh Colony. If you know the Grid Station in Bemina, we are right around there. It’s not a fancy place or anything, just some rooms where students come to sit and go over their books. Srinagar gets pretty cold in the winter months, so we usually have the heaters going, though they don't always keep the draft out. People in the neighborhood know us mostly by word of mouth. We don't really do much in the way of big signs or anything. The address says Grid Station, Nundresh Colony, Bemina, and that's exactly where you'll find the door. Sometimes the electricity goes out because of the station nearby being worked on, but we just keep going with whatever light we have. It’s just how things are here. We have some old desks that have seen better days and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. Most days it’s just us and the kids trying to figure out their lessons. There's no big secret to how we do things. We just open the doors in the morning, sweep the floors, and wait for the first batch to show up. It's a bit noisy when the traffic picks up on the main road, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper and someone explaining a topic. That's basically the whole story of our little spot in Bemina.
