Haroon Tutorial

Haroon Tutorial is located in Hawal, right by Sangeen Darwaza in Srinagar. We are very close to the Mohamadia Masjid, so the calls to prayer are a regular part of our daily background. It’s a historic and busy part of town with narrow streets and lots of old buildings. Our place is one of those simple, local spots that doesn't stand out much from the outside. We have a few rooms where we gather for our tutorials. The furniture is basic, just some desks and chairs that have been around for a while. We don't have a fancy lobby or a corporate staff. It is usually just one or two of us handling everything from the teaching to keeping the place clean. The street outside can be quite lively with people going to the masjid or doing their shopping. We like being in this part of Hawal because it has a lot of character and history. During the colder months, we have to make sure everyone stays warm, but otherwise, it’s a fairly comfortable place to spend the day. We don't do any big advertising campaigns or anything like that. Most people hear about us through word of mouth from their neighbors or friends. We just try to provide a consistent place for people to come and learn. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense operation, and we are quite content being a small, local fixture in the neighborhood.
