Mir Munawar

I run things here at the Mirabad Bye Pass in Batamaloo. It’s a busy spot, especially being so close to Hamdard Hospital. My name is Mir Munawar, and that’s what the business goes by too. I don’t see the need for a fancy title when it’s just me and a small team helping people get where they need to go. Most of our work involves transport and figuring out travel plans for people who aren't from around here. Batamaloo is always moving, so there’s never a quiet moment outside the window. We spend our time checking on drivers, making sure the cars are ready, and talking to people about where they want to stay. It’s practical work. If someone needs a ride to the airport or wants to see the sights, we sit down and talk about it. No big speeches or complicated contracts. I’ve lived in Srinagar my whole life, so I know how the weather changes things or which roads might be closed on a Tuesday. We just give honest advice based on what’s happening that day. The office is simple, just some desks and some tea when it gets cold. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just a phone that rings a lot and a door that stays open for anyone needing a hand with their travels.
