Kashmir Food Industry

We are located at South City, right over by the Nowgam By Pass. We share our space with Kashmir Apex, so there is always something going on around here. Working in the food industry means we’re always keeping an eye on the clock and the calendar. The bypass is usually packed with trucks and cars, so there’s a constant drone of engines in the background while we’re packing things up. Inside, we try to keep everything as clean as possible, which takes up a good chunk of our day. We spend a lot of time moving between the storage area and the front office. The mornings can be really cold in this part of the country, especially in the winter, so we usually start the day with some hot tea before we get into the heavy work. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the orders are right. Our team is small, and we’ve mostly been working together for a long time, so it’s a pretty comfortable environment for us. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or what’s happening in the city. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s steady and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the traffic on the bypass gets so bad that our deliveries show up late, but we just have to figure it out as we go. That’s just part of life out here near the bypass, really.
