Up here in Srinagar, Intersectit Solutions Inc is tucked away at 188 Nursingarh. It’s a solid old building where we handle all kinds of IT and solution work. The weather in JK can be a bit unpredictable, so some days we are wrapped in sweaters while we type away. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the movies. Our space is practical and simple. We have our computers set up on sturdy desks, and there is usually a pot of tea going somewhere nearby. Most of the people working here are locals who know the Nursingarh area like the back of their hand. We spend our hours looking at data and trying to make things run a bit smoother for the businesses that use our services. It can be quiet some afternoons, and other times it’s a bit of a rush to meet a deadline. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting room. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone busy at a screen who will look up and say hello. We like keeping it straightforward. Dealing with technology in this part of the country has its own challenges, but we’ve figured out how to make it work over the years. It’s just honest work in a place we call home.
