Siridhanyalu Farmers Producer Company Limited

The office is located at Yesodanagar in Pathapatnam. Vemakoti Sambamurty handles things here at house number 5-26. We are basically a group of farmers from the Srikakulam area who came together to form this company. We focus mostly on millets, which is what Siridhanyalu means in our local language. It is not a fancy corporate setup or anything like that. It is just a regular house where we keep our records and meet up to talk about the crops. The soil around here is good for these grains, so that is what we deal with most days. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once. We do not have a big team of experts. It is just us local people trying to manage the harvest and get the grains sorted. The weather in Andhra Pradesh can be tough on the crops, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the rain. We have been in this spot for a while now. Neighbors know the family name and stop by to chat. It is a quiet street usually. We do not do much advertising because everyone around Pathapatnam already knows what we are doing. We just want to keep the farming traditions going without making it too complicated. It is hard work and the days are long, but we just keep at it. There is always some grain to move or a farmer to talk to.
