Krushiphala Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is run by a group of us here in Bathivanipalem, which is under the Kithada Post in K Kotapadu Mandalam. We are all local farmers who decided to pool our resources at house number 89. It is a very rural area, and everyone knows everyone else. We started this because the market can be really tough on people who only have a little bit to sell. By coming together, we can handle the logistics much better than we could on our own. Our meeting spot is usually just a porch or a small room where we can sit down and look at our accounts. It is not professional in the way a city office is. There is usually tea being served and people talking about their families while we work. We do not use big words or have complicated strategies. We just want to make sure we can buy seeds at a decent price and find buyers who will not cheat us. The roads out here are not the best, so getting stuff moved is always a challenge. We just take it one day at a time. Some seasons are good and some are bad, but we stick together either way. We are not trying to get rich, we just want to live a decent life from our land. It is a simple goal, but it takes a lot of effort from all of us.
