Chatinayana Public School

Chatinayana Public School is out in Pata Sonapur, which is over in Srikakulam. The pin code here is 532312. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you aren’t from the local area. The school is a simple building, nothing too big or complicated. We have some trees around the yard where the kids spend their time during the lunch break. It gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up, so we’re always sweeping the floors. The rooms are basic with standard benches. We don't have those fancy smart boards you see in the city schools, just the regular blackboards and chalk. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or bike to work every morning. Srikakulam has its own pace, and we definitely follow that here in Pata Sonapur. Things don't happen in a hurry. We spend our time checking notebooks and making sure the kids aren't making too much noise in the halls. The office is small and usually smells like old paper and tea. We aren't trying to be the biggest school around; we just provide a place for the local kids to come and learn. You won't find any polished brochures here. If you want to know about us, you just come by the school and talk to whoever is at the front desk. We’ve been here for a while and the community knows us.
