Our office is located at 237, Som Datt Chambers -Ii. Being in Bhikaji Cama Place means we are right in the middle of all the noise and traffic of the city. Sterling Sales Pvt. Ltd. occupies this space on the second floor, and it’s usually full of files and phones ringing. It’s a typical commercial building with a lot of stairs and elevators that sometimes take too long. We spend most of our day sitting at desks, talking to people on the phone or typing up documents. It’s not very glamorous, but it’s what we do. The lighting in the building is a bit dim in the hallways, but our office is bright enough. We’ve got a small pantry where we make tea, which is basically the fuel for the whole operation. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold and other times it’s not enough, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the orders go out correctly and the customers don’t have to call us back twice for the same thing. It gets hectic around the end of the month when everything seems to happen at once. We’ve been at Bhikaji Cama Place long enough to know where the good lunch spots are, which is important. It’s a solid place to work and we’re used to the pace here.
