If you head down to the Main Market in Mehrauli, you will find us at 901 in Ward No.8. Omprakash & Bros has been a part of this market for a long time. The market is always crowded, especially in the mornings when everyone is out buying things for their homes. Our shop is right in the thick of it. It can get a bit loud with all the shouting and the carts moving through the narrow lanes. We don’t mind the chaos because that’s just how the market is. Inside our place, it’s a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. You’ll see shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a wooden ladder that’s probably older than most of the staff to reach the top rows. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone around who knows the history of the place. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny displays. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The building is old and has a lot of character, even if the paint is peeling in a few spots. We just focus on keeping the doors open and serving the people who come in. It’s a practical way to live and work. There is always something to do here, and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces every morning.
