You can find Jk Lakshmi Cement Limited over on the first floor of E-175 in Naraina Vihar. New Delhi is always moving, and this area is no different. Our office is up the stairs, and it’s a pretty functional space. We don’t have a lot of extra room, so everything has its place, more or less. Most of the time, the rooms are filled with the sound of people talking on phones or the hum of the air conditioner trying to keep up with the Delhi heat. Naraina Vihar is a good spot for us because it is central enough. Some days the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it. We keep things very informal here. There is no dress code or anything like that; we just wear what is comfortable for a long day. We focus on the daily grind. Making sure deliveries are tracked and accounts are cleared takes up most of our time. It’s a busy life in a busy city. We just stay focused on what needs doing today and try to stay ahead of the paperwork. That is really the long and short of it for us.
