Millennium Computers

Our shop is right on the Main 60 Feet Road in Dwarka Sector 3, at C-357/A. It’s easy to find if you’re looking for the sign. Inside, there are boxes of parts and old monitors sitting on the shelves. Most days, we’re just sitting at the back desk trying to figure out why a motherboard isn’t working or cleaning out dust from a laptop fan. It gets pretty cramped when we have five or six machines open at the same time. People drop off their computers and hope for the best. We tell them what’s wrong and how much the parts cost. There’s no fancy lobby or anything, just a counter and some chairs if you need to wait. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes downloading drivers a pain. We’ve been here for a bit, so we know the neighbors well. If we don’t have a cable or a specific RAM stick in stock, we have to order it, which takes a few days. The street outside is always busy with cars and rickshaws going by. We usually have a half-empty coffee mug somewhere on the workbench. It’s a lot of staring at screens and clicking mice. We just try to get the repairs done so people can get back to their work. It’s not a glamorous job, but Millennium Computers stays busy from morning till night. We just do our best with what comes through the door.
