Khodiyar Dairy Farm

Khodiyar Dairy Farm is located at J-73 in the Paryavaran Complex. We are right on Neb Sarai Ignou Road, which gets a lot of traffic during the school and office hours. The farm life starts very early for us, usually before most people are even awake. We have the milk cans to clean and the delivery routes to organize every single morning. It is a bit of a dusty area sometimes, but we keep our spot as tidy as we can. The cows need a lot of attention and there is always something that needs fixing, whether it is a gate or a bucket. People from the local complex often stop by to get their milk directly or just to say hello. It is a very hands-on job and we don't spend much time sitting down in an office. Most of the paperwork is done on a small table in the corner after the main work is finished. The sound of the animals and the clinking of metal cans is just the normal background noise for us. We have been here at Neb Sarai for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite the new buildings around us, we just keep doing what we know how to do. It is hard work and the hours are long, but there is a certain rhythm to it that feels right. We just focus on the daily chores and the animals. (252 words)
