Being over in Dwarka at Sector-7 is a bit different than the crowded markets in the city center. Our office at B-887 on the first floor of Palam Extension is where the team at Sun Agrigenetics Pvt Ltd spends most of the day. It’s mostly just a lot of talk about seeds and plant genetics, though we try to keep things simple when people ask what we actually do here. The office has big windows that look out toward the street, so we see the planes heading toward the airport pretty often. It’s a regular workspace with some computers, a few filing cabinets that don't always close right, and a small area for making coffee. Most of us take the metro to get here, so the morning starts with everyone trickling in and complaining about the commute. We deal with a lot of data and research stuff, but at the end of the day, it's just about helping farmers get better results with what they plant. We don't have any fancy receptionists or anything. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all end up sitting around talking about local news until it comes back on. It’s a quiet enough place to work, and we all get along well enough to keep things running. We stay pretty focused on the seeds and the paperwork that comes with it. We don't really do much else besides the daily office grind.
