Cover Line

Hauz Khas Village is a busy spot. Cover Line is right here at 1A/1. We've been around a while. Mostly we deal with covers and fabrics, things like that. People come in looking for specific stuff for their homes. The shop isn't huge, but it's packed. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we're sorting through rolls of material. It's just how it goes when you're working with your hands every day. Usually, one of us is around to help out, unless we've stepped out for tea. We try to keep things straightforward. If we have it, we'll tell you. If not, maybe we can figure something out. The village has changed a lot over the years, but we're still here doing our thing. It's a lot of manual work, measuring and cutting. My back usually hurts by the end of the day. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. Just the shop. People find us by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. It’s a living. We know most of the people on this street now. It’s nice having a familiar spot to come to every morning. Sometimes the traffic getting into the village is a nightmare, but once you're inside, it's alright. Just a regular business doing regular work.
