We’re tucked away in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at Plot No V-28 on 9th Main. It’s the 2nd Stage of the estate, right next to A-353(B). If you know Peenya, you know it’s a maze of factories and trucks. Captes Electric Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this plot for quite some time now. The building is a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a different story with all the wires and components we handle. We have a small team, and everyone knows their job. It gets pretty loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to be heard. The 9th Main is always clogged with tempos and lorries, so getting our shipments out takes some planning. We usually have our lunch together in the small break area near the back. It’s a bit of a trek to the main road from here, so we stay on-site most of the day. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If someone rings the bell, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. Working in Peenya means you’re part of a huge network of makers. We just focus on our electrical work and try to keep things moving smoothly. It’s a busy life, and the floor is always covered in small bits of metal and tape.
