Batra Art Press is based in the Naraina Industrial Area, Phase-II. Our address is A-41. If you come by, you will definitely hear the sound of the printing presses long before you see the sign. The whole building vibrates a little when the big machines are running. We have stacks of paper everywhere—different weights, colors, and sizes. The smell of ink is something you never really get out of your clothes. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we’ve seen the printing industry change from the old ways to the new stuff. We still have some of the older equipment alongside the newer ones. It’s a busy place. There are always proofs to check and plates to set up. Our staff is mostly people who have been in the printing trade since they were young. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings. Usually, we just talk over the noise of the machines or in the small space near the entrance. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here for twenty years. We just try to get the colors right and the edges straight. It’s a lot of work, but we like the process of seeing a blank sheet turn into something finished. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, but we stay until the job is done.
