We are tucked away at 92-A/3 in Pratik Market, which is in Munirka. It is a busy little corner of the city. Agarwal Scales & Systems is where we spend our days dealing with all kinds of weighing equipment. It’s a fairly small shop, so we have to be careful about where we put things. You’ll see scales of all sizes sitting on the counters and the floor. Some are small and delicate, and others are big heavy things meant for warehouses. We spend a lot of our time squinting at digital displays or adjusting the internal bits of mechanical scales. It’s the kind of work that requires a bit of patience and a steady hand. The market outside is always noisy with people shopping and cars honking, but inside we try to keep things focused. We aren't the type to use big words or try to impress anyone with fancy talk. We just know how scales work and we help people pick the one they need or fix the one they already have. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cluttered because we have spare parts tucked into every drawer and shelf. But we like it that way. It feels like a real workshop. People from all over the neighborhood drop in, sometimes just to chat or ask a quick question. We’ve become a part of the local scenery here in Munirka over the years.
