We are located at Plot No. 3 in Sanguem, down in South Goa. It’s a bit of a drive from the tourist beaches, which suits us just fine. Srithik Ispat Pvt is all about steel. If you come by the plot, you’ll see stacks of metal and heavy machinery. It’s a dusty place, and it gets very hot in the afternoons under the sun. We aren't a big corporate office with air conditioning in every room. Most of the work happens outside or in the shed. We have trucks coming in and out at odd hours. The roads around here can be narrow, so navigating the big loads is always a bit of a challenge. Our team is local, mostly people from around Sanguem or the nearby villages. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the area change slowly. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just sell our products and manage the inventory. Some days the machines break down and we spend the whole day fixing them instead of producing anything. That’s just how it is in this line of work. It’s honest labor.
