You can find us at 8, Lotus Apartments on F L Gomes Road in Vasco Da Gama. It’s a pretty busy road, so there’s always the sound of cars and bikes zooming past our windows. Working out of an apartment building gives it a more relaxed feel than a big commercial block, I think. We’ve been trading here for quite some time now, and we know most of the people who live in the building and the shopkeepers nearby. The office itself is full of samples and boxes that we’re constantly moving around to make space. It’s not always the most organized place, but we know where everything is. This part of town has that coastal air, so things can get a bit humid, and we usually have the fans going full blast all day. We deal with various goods and suppliers, so the phone is always ringing with someone asking about a delivery or a price. It’s a practical business. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We’d rather just have a sturdy desk and a reliable computer. Most days, it’s just the usual routine of checking orders and making sure things get shipped out on time. We take our breaks when we can, maybe walk down the road for a snack. It’s a steady life here at Lotus Apartments, just doing our bit and keeping things moving.
