Vasco Steel Traders

Vasco Steel Traders is at Shop No. 1 and 2 in the St.Pelagia Building. We are right across from Khalap Mansion. If you know where the Punjab National Bank is, then you have found us. We have been here for a good while now. The shops are side by side and they are usually full of steel stock. It’s not a very big space but it works for what we do. I guess we spend most of our time just organizing the inventory or helping people who walk in. It’s not fancy. There is no air conditioning or plush chairs. Just a regular counter and lots of steel bars and sheets. Sometimes the street outside gets very crowded with cars and people going to the bank. It makes loading things a bit of a challenge some days. We just handle it as it comes. We are just local people running a shop. We don’t have a big website or anything. Most of our customers are folks from around the neighborhood or contractors who have been coming to us for years. We try to keep things simple and honest. You come in, tell us what you need, and we see if we have it in the back. That is basically how we have always operated. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the metal, but that is part of the job.
