Unique Equipments

Our workshop is located at Z 15 in the Mormugao Industrial Estate. It’s over in Chicalim, which is near Vasco Da Gama. This is an industrial area, so it’s not the kind of place you come for a walk. It’s mostly warehouses, factories, and other businesses like ours. We work with different types of equipment and machinery. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there is always the smell of grease in the air. We have a few heavy machines that we use for our work, and they make a lot of noise when they are running. It’s a hands-on environment. Most of the time, we are wearing work clothes and getting our hands dirty. The building is a simple industrial shed with a high ceiling to keep it from getting too hot, but in the Goa humidity, it’s still pretty warm. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back working on a piece of equipment. We keep our records in a few big ledgers on a desk in the corner. It’s a very practical way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve been here for years and we know most of the other workshop owners in the estate. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it, and we are used to the routine of fixing and assembling things day after day.
